Unknown: The Winsor House is back in the family again. Owned and operated by Pauline and Mike Windsor, it is a mixture of folklore, fact and fiction and invites you to settle in and feel at home. Are you are looking for a unique experience? You may hear the echoes of past sealers avoiding a Spring storm by "mugging up" in the basement before travelling on to the St. John's. Imagine sitting and reading in the waiting room before visiting Dr. Diamond in his surgery. The Winsor House is just 1.5 hours from Gander on Route 320 (exit off the Trans Canada Hwy. at Gambo) or alternately, drive the 1.5 hours around the "Loop" along Route 330, (exit off the Trans Canada Hwy. at Gander).
